Yash Chopra never insisted his heroines to lose weight

On the occasion of celebrating 1000 weeks of success, DDLJ star Kajol showed her tribute to late director Yash Chopra by stating that he never made his actresses to lose weight for his films. He was so particular about the fact that all his crew members were well-fed on the sets so that they could deliver their best output.

Yash Chopra always went a step further to ensure that none of his actresses had to undergo any kind of rigorous weight loss programs or crash diets to look slim. His love for 3F’s i.e. films, family and food was the only mantra that he always used to stick to, be it in personal life or in professional one.

In today’s era, when directors are so fussy about their star-cast to trim down those extra calories to fit in the role, Kajol says that she is lucky to have worked with such a great person like Yash Chopra.
